NEXT TUESDAY .. APRIL 3RD .. IMPORTANT ELECTION FOR DEMOCRATS
FOR STATE SENATE SEAT DISTRICT 20

Dear Logan County Democrat,

MAGNUS SCOTT, the Vice Chair of our Logan County Democratic Committee is the Democratic Candidate in this race.  He is working very hard to win, visiting all of the four counties in the Senate District and meeting with business people, political leaders, church leaders, civic groups and going door to door.

A little bit about the man I have known for more than fifteen years.  He has spent his life advocating for Democratic Party values, for his town and now he wants to take that commitment and energy to the State Senate.   He wants the opportunity to support quality education, better roads and jobs at the State Capitol.  He understands Democrats “value families”.

BUT, he can’t win without your help.  Magnus needs YOUR vote and those of the Democrats in your family, your church, your neighborhood.  Help get the word out.  Because he will not accept contributions from lobbyists, his campaign depends on financial support from folks like you and me.   We should not expect that candidates willing to run for office have to depend on their own financial resources to meet the expenses of the campaign.

I would urge you seriously consider making a contribution to our Logan County Democratic Committee (form attached)) or directly to the Magnus Scott Campaign for SD 20, P O Box 538, Langston, OK 73050.  Contributions made directly to the candidate are allowed on your State Income Tax form under contributions.  Be sure to complete the contribution form with your check – an attachment (click here) to this email.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact Magnus at 405 361 9619; his campaign chair Evelyn Nephew 405 282 2083     C-401 6860, or me 405 341 3748 if you have any questions.

EARLY IN-PERSON VOTING MARCH 30 AND APRIL 2 AT THE LOGAN COUNTY ELECTION BOARD-GUTHRIE
